Siri news never stop…It has been weeks since iPhone 4S was out… That particular event seems to be the launch of the assistant rather than the hardware it lives within. This favorite personal assistant has made news once again and this time it gives a shot at being scary. Siri has been paired with the Iris 9000 to give its users a gloomy feel of being watched.Sadly these halloween effects are only appearance wise.

The Iris 9000 is a … ummm let’s say speaker for the Siri. Not only does it make you hear Siri from a distance but also makes sure that you are heard too.It is highly simplistic actually. Just plug your iPhone 4S to the dock and Hit the button on the pocket sized remote (It comes with the IRIS 9000 ), Siri will chime and you may proceed with your commands or queries. The built-in microphone of Iris 9000 will pick up your commands. Once Siri has an answer, her response will play through the speaker of the Iris 9000.

Of course, much of Siri’s functionality – like performing web searches or finding directions to the nearest coffee shop – requires that you be able to see the screen of your iPhone 4S, not just hear what Siri has to say, so that limits the usefulness of Iris 9000. Now here is the spooky thing, Whenever Siri makes use of the IRIS 9000, a giant red eye is seen right the centre. Look at this with no lights and you’ll surely be reminded of a cyclops, or some fancy retro alienish space monster.A slight modification to Siri’s voice to suit the ghastly role would have made it picture perfect.

Apart from watching you constantly the IRIS 9000 is an awesome addition for those who wish to get things done right from where they are. This addition has inevitably brought Siri out of the iPhone 4S and give your house an awesome Batcave ambience. You can never be sure … with the given potential Siri can and will soon control every electronic thing in your home with a mere the approval from your voice.Hats off to Apple.
