Netbooks are getting popular in Indian market. It’s a good choice for Internet usage on the move. If you want to buy a laptop for Internet surfing then an affordable netbook is the best choice.

Indian market is flooded with netbooks having different configurations and price range. Here we are considering the low end notebooks and covering 5 notebooks with price tag below 20K INR.

      The best processor in the netbooks is the Intel Atom processors. Most of the brands in India carry the Intel Atom barring a very few.

    Can u tell me that can i run java, oracal 10 & sql on dell mini 10..

    • Oracle 10 is a very resource intensive software that requires lot of RAM, min 2 GB. So if you want to have a notebook for development purpose… I would suggest you to go for bigger size notebook. The other reason is the heating problem that can come with Netbook when you run resource hog software.

      Hey check out the Asus X series and Asus 1011. They are available at a price below 15,000. They have Intel Atom processors and 1 GB RAM. Thats a very good bet at this price. You can certainly buy one of these.

    Loved samsung N150. Its a great netbook. Especially its looks. although batterybackup is also good with Intel inside :) . Its a +1 gadget, Will definitely look forward to bring this home
