Nokia C5 is now available in Indian market. It’s been almost three months of its launch in European market. Nokia C5 comes with Symbian S60 platform that was only used in N-Series and E-Series phones, so its a good move to see the latest OS in the mid-range mobile phones. Nokia C5 is a bar phone with slim looks and compact design. The stainless steel body with a curved architecture gives it a nice and latest look.

Nokia C5 comes with Nokia Messaging to setup your personal mail accounts easily. It also supports instant messaging with an easy setup with Nokia Messaging. There are social networking apps like Facebook and Twitter to keep you connected with friends at all time.

Nokia C5 doesn’t disappoint on Music side with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Stereo Radio and 16GB microSD memory support. Nokia Music Manager is an added feature to keep your music files in Sync with your PC, just like iTunes.

Nokia C5 Price: Nokia C5 is priced around Rs. 8,500 in Indian market that is completely justified with the provided features.

  1. I preferred higher internal memory but with 50 Mb not bad for storing contacts. A 16 Gb microSd card support that would be enough for saving your photos and videos. Nokia C5 had a justifiable price so I think it’s worth it.

  2. reena says:

is it available in chandigarh? if yes what is its price in chandigarh?
Please let me know soon i wanna buy it.!!!

  3. memory cards says:

Yes i agree, it’s a nice phone with plenty of features. I’m not sure that most people would need a 16GB micro-sd card as it only has a 3.2 mp camera which would store 1000′s of photos. I would say an 8GB card would be more than adequate for most users.

  4. STC, Mumbai says:

It is surprising that there is no mention of the fact that it has 3G support.
Note: It lacks wi-fi connectivity or touchscreen support. And the speaker is below par. Otherwise it is a good phone for the price.

  5. Nokia C5 looks to be a slim model, Does this model support 3G? What could be the current price in India?

  6. The latest Symbian OS in this phone is amazing and it is the fist ever Symbian OS on a low priced phone..whoah that’s great. I wonder if this phone is avaible to other countries in asia?

    Hi All…
If you think Nokia c5 is a good deal for 8000…then probably you are going wrong.
I bought this mob just 10 days back and the most irritating issue in this is its damn slow.(With no data in Memory card, just think if it will half 8 GB i.e. half of the max capacity i bet your mobile will simply hang up.)
I went to nokia care with that problem and they told me it’s a minor issue…and since its Symbian OS Series 60 this issue can’t be resolved. I think nokia is loosing its name by launching these kinds of mobiles to compete with other mob company in Indian market.

So i think all models having OS Symbian OS Series 60 will have same problem. and they don’t have any solution for this.

If you want to test just switch on the mobile it will take few minutes to come up.
Its Just an eye wash nokia doing to capture its market.
The quality of the products is really going down as per price.

It does not matter what are all features it has… What really matters is how many features from that working efficiently.

this phone is out of stock in mumbai. any idea guys?

  9. vikash jha says:

hi everybody i wanna buy this phone. Planet-m sells it at rs. 7600 in india. I have heared that the screen quality of this phone is not up to the mark related to other features. But i think this is the best phone to buy at this price range…..:-)

  10. jigar says:

  11. I’ve been using nokia C5 for almost 3 months already and this phone is so nice! No doubt I really like its design, the application are great as well.

That anonymous guy seems to be jealous. Must be a samsung or sony guy. Hahaha.irretated by his own phone .remember, even iphone gets hanged.i hv dis phone. Got it at 7300 from delhi. Amazing battery life(the best i hv ever seen).i wanted the white one, but found it nowhere. Finally picked warm grey. V gud speed (600 mhz).fast 3.5 g is superb. Got a speed of 2.8 mbps.even edge gave me 200kbps(25 kbps download speed ) day nd night.very solid phone.will not break nd last 4 to 5 yrs easily.gps is gud in delhi,so no prob in that . Inbuilt apps r very helpful.

  13. Rahul says:

    7250/- in calicut(kerala) with 2GB memory card.

  14. ANIL says:

Recently i had purchased this phone for 7150. as the anonymos said obviously this is a slow phone. but regular usage for (24×7) internet/edge/gprs is not worth. it is just phone and can be used occasionally. One more important thing…..Once u start an application… that particular application will never be slow… only starting of that application is slow. Ex: if u run autocad 2010 in P3 processor PC???? is it possible… maybe very slow for half an hour it may start…. BUT IF U RUN OVER q4 PROCESSOR….ITS JUST STARTS…sssssshhhhtaaaak…bol ke ajayega….but this mobile is not like P3 processor PC. its some thing more better than that.

  15. venkata says:

    hi all,

i brought nokia c5-00 recently. I realized after use first day that i selected wrong phone for usage. It has hell lot of problems.
    1. Startup is very slow, took 2mins to start. U can switch it on and have coffee and come back.
    2. Fucking software, too many critical defects.
    a. camera is not perfect, red color lines are coming when capturing image.
    b. if u capture 3 images continuosly, device ll restart or hangup.
    c. If u switch to camera to camcoder device ll restart.
3.Funny thing is after software update, device is not deleting any of contacts, images, settings. Only software version is displaying to latest. No bugs above mentioned got fixed in latest software 62.01.

I suggest those who want to buy this phone, please dont buy. its complete waste of money. ofcourse if u have enough money and want to waste of it this device is the best selection for those.

    thanks
    venkata

  16. [...] My Gadget Planet Nokia C5 is elementary though not ordinary. Packing in a little cold facilities as well as specifically a little good song tools, similar to a  3.5 mm audio jack, FM Stereo Radio as well as 16GB microSD mental recall await for combined storage for song file, this phone is anything though ordinary. different comments.. wat should i consider..
any one suggest a nice phone under Rs 10,000 …

  19. harshit says:

    hi.. Guys
ive been using dis fone for 1 year and it is awesome. Camera is good. Games n apps of all types including n-gage 2.0 is compatible. Best battery life. Gets Charged quick and lasts longer. Also multitasking is vry good. U cn have min. 10 apps working at same time. Also it has 600mhz processor which is more than n95. It looks good and its keypad is very good. It has more features than any other s60 devices. It is also a 3.5 g mobile with a secondary camera at a cheap rate. Also display is also good. Image viewer and music player is good. So i recomend u 2 buy this phone. And 1 bst thing dat if u download coreplayer in dis device, ull b able 2 play .avi and .mkv videos

  20. Star says:

Resolution, multitasking, 3G are good features. But this phone lacks the basic functionalities of a mobile phone.
Messaging Field doesnt have Recently used Contacts, Everytime user needs to select the recepient from contacts.
    Always the images open horizontally.
Image/photo Viewing mechanism is very bad
Its not possible to play songs from Memory card- perticular folder with Music player, which automatically goes to next song.
Its not possible to view the photos from Memory card- perticular folder with Image Viewer, which automatically opens the next image.
I wont suggest anyone to buy this phone.
