it seems there is no bluetooth in it, it not menotined …can someone confirm?

I bought this handset a month ago.
The phone is really good and fast also.
Bluetooth is present and yoou can access it from the connections menu.
The only thing which is a big disappointment is the camera which is worse than my previous phone, Nokia 6085′s, VGA camera.
Otherwise its a really good and cheap handset considering what all featurs it’s providing.
The touch is according to me better than samsung corby range

Not having HSPA (3G) support is a definite negative. It does support wi-fi, but this has very limited availability in India as of now. The camera is below par.
However it’s a buy if you want a Windows Mobile touchscreen phone with GPS and you work/study in an environment that is wi-fi enabled.

Dear Administrator, I don’t see any difference on the words “CD” and “CD-ROM” and technically its called as “CD-ROM”(Compact Disk-Read Only Memory). and I don’t think any one should be so cleaver to point out this mistake (which is not a mistake I guess)

I am not sure what are you trying to point in this comment. I can see that only one place CD is mentioned i.e “Drivers CD”. When somebody says CD-ROM, it is thought of talking about the Optical Drive.

This is to tell you about my experience with this phone
which might be useful for some who is looking for any feedback about this W900 phone.
I got mine on 25th of Mayl for Rs 8250/- in Hyderabad. This is my first Win mobile.
It’s almost waste of money …still now I am using well because getting many defects
some times it’s not dectect the sim
third party softwares are not run properly
after every swicthoff ur mobile we will reinstall the softares
I never faced in my life time like this…
around it takes to compelte the charging 8-9 hrs
and with in 2 to 3 hrs it comes to zero … if ur not use it gets 6 hours only
it’s total money waste product ….this is my sincerly advise to purchase the members
I went to service centers also … they told I sent mail to company but not get any response form company
If these are the problems with the W900 ..then I would never wants to go out & buy this phone…cheaper phones does tend to have these kinds of problems.
I was litterally going to buy this phone but the complaints above made me stop doing so.
Can somone tell / advice me if NokiaE63 is a better phone then W900?
Nokia E63 is far better than W900 and it has the Nokia brand name that we can trust on

I am either looking for Micro Max w900,blackberry 8520 or samsung corby pro.(Camera is never a constrain)
My main usage is for Business purpose

Blackberry is over hyped phone, you should go for Corby Pro or go for HTC Wildfire in the same range with great functionalities.

W900 Review – 3 Months and Counting
Firstly – I bought the phpne around 3 months ago and hv been dissapointed by the after sale service that I got from Micromax. (Will discuss that a little later)
Features – The Phone has almost all the features that u can ask for a 7.5K Windows phone. Bluetooth, Wifi, Win Mo 6.1, a 2 MP Camera, Integrated SBP Shell Ver 3.5 , A-GPS with Free Voice based navigation from Map My India etc.
Positives – GPS Works Fabulously well. Voice quality is pretty decent, Battery life is amazing (As compared to Other phones in this segment)
Negatives – No 3G but who needs 3G as of now in India. It will still take months to get the 3G to indian consumers (Barring MTNL and BSNL Who are already giving 3G but again….) The touch is Decent not very good but itd better that Stock touch of 5800 Xpress music. The External speaker is Very Very bad, The sound crackles whenevr music is played, No Place to keep stylus in the phone (I Ya Ya I know about the String but come on guys who keeps the stylus there.. It sucks big time), and last (But not the least) A pathetic after sale service.
My phone started giving me issues after 1.5 months only, It used to switch off automatically, Some hardware issue. I gave it to the service center in Noida and Those guys took 5 days and Hard reset my phone and told me that it was a software issue. I used it for 2 days.. Same issue.. I took the phone to them, This time they kept it with them for 2 weeks and in between changed their only contact number.. They never bothered to call, I only had to go their twice to check the status. Finally My phone is back with me and looks like its running fine as of now.. Lets see how much more it runs..
Over All.. Micromax as a Company Definately Not Recommended.
However the phone itself is pretty good. For this price its a steal, And if u r lucky enough and u get a good piece.. U might even like it.
Well after seeing all those thing until Micro Maxx gives a proper Service center I cant take a risk of investing 7k amount I would rather go for Nokia even if it gives less feature that I can use and has many many service center

Hey! Mostly to all the girls out there. The W900 phone is really good. W900 doesn’t support flash player and pdf. You can convert flash player files to other usefull formats by DVD Video Soft converter for free.
frankly speaking, dont ever buy this set,. You will end you in miserable service. Their will be a problem of Vibrator and your mobile will start hanging for every vibrator related function.
And service is so very unsatisfactory that you wont be able to get this set repaired.

after 1 month from bought, there was sim failure. go to vendor , sent to nearest service centre ( as they told ) but no news after that. hett shallaa.
The after sale service of Micromax sucks. No matter how good their products are( if at all they are) the after sale service is a must which is completely negative in case of Micromax. I had a Q75 which staretd a problem with the trackball and apperently i took it to the service center in Manimajra, Chandigarh. It has been almost a month and I still haven’t got my phone back. And what is the reason behind it, waiting for the component to come. And to top it all the most rude behaviour you will ever find in customer service is from Micromax. So if anyone of you out there wants to buy a lifetime of headache by spending good amount of money then please go ahead and by a Micromax product or else you can spread these words to save others from all these troubles.
By the way I planning to lodge a case in consumer court against Micromax. So if any one can help me in this regards will be more than welcome.
