Yes it has dual sim facility and a camera. The camera quality is not be up to the mark. Nokia 3500 etc. have better camera than this fone.

hi dear i think that u should buy Q7 instead of Q5 because it is having wifi at a very slight rate difference i am using Q5 it is awesome but i am taking now Q6 only becoz of its problem in trackball

I bought q5fb on 23rd. With in 24hrs my
SIM2 slot stopped working. Using single SIM only. I hv been asked to go to service center… Think before buying….
mat lena mobile saala bakvas phone hai mai jab liya toh after 4 is mein automatic phone switch off ho gaya aisa 5to6 times problem aae hai still i m so filling to get this mobile.

Hi I bought Micromax Q5fb before 5 months, Ii was working good before, but now it’s started irritating me. First problem I faced for earpiece, when I connect my earpiece, after removing earpiece from phone the earpiece logo was still reflecting into the screen, After that I gave it for servicing and solved the problem, now the trackball is completely stuck-up and the query keypad is not functioning well, if administrator is reading this post please help me and solve the issue. Can micromax company replace my handset as if it is in warranty like sony ericson do?

5 months ago i purchased micromax q5 i am very happy but now i am felling very bad about this phone i am very sad about it’s trackball
i am repairing it’s trackball 2 times in service center but again it still same problem RELLY MICROMAX IS A CHINA COMPANY
(DUFFER COMPANY) and micromax q5 does not support 3d games. But Q5′s modem is relly owsome
it’s download speed is 48kbps wow. but when i am using this phone as a modem it will always
disconnect the connection IN EVERY 1 HOURS then i am contect my customer care he says your micromax q5
will disconnect the connection Autometically. Then i use my friends Nokia 5233 and i use the internet without
disconnection. If YOu use micromax q5 as a modem with your sim card it will off your Second
SIM Card (DUFFER MOBILE). SO GYUS IF U HANDLE THIS SITUATIONS THIS IS A GREAT PHONE FOR
YOU AND IF YOU NOT THEN CHOOSE NOKIA SAMSUNG SONY ERICSSON (BUT PLEASE MY REQUEST FOR YOU

The problem of disconection is due to network and not due to phone.
Q5fb is great gadget at this price,Nokia and samsung not even nearby it, in specification and price.track ball sometimes create problem i know and some software bugs are there but minute nature so don’t worry and be happy….

I have bought q5fb last week and it seems good. I looked how to use the shortcut menu but it was not mentioned in the manual. I treid to call the Insta help numbers mentioned in the service booklet but some of the numbers were not at all connected with MM and some of them even didnot existed. I tried the numbers at the corporate office with no reply. i even tried the number 1800***** to get the same result. Now I feel cheated to buy a product from such an unprofessional compnay. I looking forward to simillar experince when i face a serice related query.

I had been using tis phone since…. feb 2010. sometimes when using the net, the trackball gives problem. but overall …. its a good phone…. music quality is superb ! camera result is good. too good to have a phone at this price. those who r complaining about tis phone are better opp for phone at higher price if they can effort ! teteteteteteh lol

I am using this obile since very long time.
There are many problem with this mobile which I have experince.
Even my friends have also taken this mobile and they all are facing the same problem.
1.If you are using GPRS on SIM 1 then you will not recive any calls for SIM 2 and vice versa.
2.Trackball is very pathetic-It gets damaged. Three times I have changed the track ball.It have very huge problem.My Handset is under warranty therefore I am getting it in free of cost. After warranty I will have to pay 500 rs to change the trackball.
3.Micromax Q5 handset turns off and automatically it turns on.It is very huge problem therefore I have check each and everytime whether mobile in ON or not.
4.You can not lock(security password protected lock like Nokia and Samsung gives) the mobile on stand by mode.
5.You can nor store sms more than 1000 which is really pathetic.
6.In built GTalk does not work at all.
7.You can not add or delete user profiles.
8.You can not change the ringtone of the SMS.There are only 6 in built ringtone.
9.Facebook application is too old.You can not see images in it and it does not show the Facebook any feature.
10.It is unitasking mobile.If you are using bluetooth then u can not use GPRS or opera or other service and vice versa.
11.You can not change the mobile’s theme.
12.Camera is very pathetic–Poor clarity it is worst than any VGA camera.
13.Phonesuit does not work properly on Windows XP and WIndows 7
14.It has metal body,if u r using data cable then u might get electricity shock sometimes.
15.It is very very heavy mobile.
16.If you can using SIM 1 for calling then you will not receive any calls on SIM 2.and vice versa.For this you have to divert the calls from sim 1 to sim2 and vice versa.
Note:There are lots of problem with this mobile,Kindly dont buy it.Go for Motorola EX115 or Spice QT or Nokia C3(single sim).

Micromax is good for one thing.Sometimes it happens that we forget our mobile number or want to know about our data (GPRS) balance usage, validity of sim, account balance or to stop or start a service provided by mobile telecom operator but we are unaware of the USSD codes or mobile operator code for that, also as market is flooded by so many telecom operators so it is very difficult to remember all these mobile codes.
I m using Q5fb frm past 14 months, its quite good fone, gives full value for money.
there are backlogs like themes wont support, cant use more han 5 ringtones @ a time, cant use tones as sms tone.

In such low price Micromax is offering so many things, what else can you expect from it.
If you are looking for cheap phone, then go for it and dont look for any support from them. Its like china phone.
