Nokia has launched a new smartphone Nokia 5230 in early 2010, a full touchscreen gadget. Nokia 5230 is very similar to nokia 5800 except Wi-FI. It has a 2Megapixel camera, 3.2″ screen, media bar, A-GPS and integration with Nokia’s Ovi services.
Nokia 5230 runs on S60 5th edition on symbian along with flip scrolling. User Interface and touch screen is very good and very sensitive. Audio quality of this phone is excellent and delivers excellent quality sound in loudspeakers also. According to Nokia, non-stop music playback time is 33 hours.
Nokia 5230 has a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, FM radio and microSD card slot.

It’s easy to see why you’d be intrigued and excited about a product like this one. I’m glad I didn’t see it on the store shelf before reading your article becuase I definitely would have bought it… and I’m sure I would have been really disappointed with the poor performance. The Nokia 5230 is a touchscreen phone with 3.2 inch screen. The mobile is 3G compliant and has got a 2 mega pixel camera. The 5230 comes with some advanced features like the accelerometer to enable auto rotation of images. Unfortunately the phone does not have wi-fi connectivity. This is not such a big issue in countries with 3G network but for India, it becomes a tricky issue and you need to be aware of it before buying the phone.
